Happy Holidays

Hey there everyone! With the holiday season now in full swing with just over a week until Christmas, I am sure we are all busy with our own situations regarding preparation for everything lol. I am not excluded from this predicament and am very busy at work outside my computer. So I do apologize for the lack of content this past week but I have been unable to go out and actually capture some new images. I will try to get some photos later this week since it may be until after the new year in which I will actively have time for photography. Some good news though, I will be going to Walt Disney World in the middle of January so I am positive I will have many great shots that I will be posting. Anyway, I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Holiday Season! -Andy

Picture of the Week, Dec.2nd-8th 2012

So, through some help and suggestions, I have decided to do a blog feature 'Picture of the week". So for this week...and to celebrate the beginning of the holidays...here is my first picture of the week!

This was taken on Main Street near the Carnation Cafe in Disneyland. I always loved subtle details of the entire park with Main Street being far from exception. These lamps never turn off day or night and have the classic style of a turn-of-the-century small town. The lamps are powered by gas and add authenticity for Main Street. If you don't know already, Main Street is modeled after Walt Disney's home town of Marceline, Missouri. That garland you see is one of many strung over Main Street during the holidays and accents the already impressive decorations such as the 80-ft Christmas Tree and the Snow on Sleeping Beauty's castle. 

Gallery Started!

Ok, so this is a start but I have a few images that I have uploaded. I have been looking at other options when it comes on creating blogger galleries using widgets and html codes. However, they all seemed either out-dated or the html would end up being incomplete or not up to date with the current version of blogger and other connected sites. So this gallery will remain as a separate page in my blog for now until I get more comfortable in regards of keeping it here or as an external gallery. Don't worry...there are only a few images for now but I will add more through the coming days.

So more images were imported and worked on but ran low on time in regards to starting a gallery. I hope to get that all situated tomorrow. I am very excited to start putting my work up for the first time!

It Begins...

So, if anyone views my blog in next day or two I apologize for the lack of content. This is my first blog and still getting things set up for my photography. Thanks.

With some help I will be working on my blog in the next couple of days so stay tuned. Also, working on importing some photos I have done recently including the 2012 Miramar Airshow and a trip I took aboard the Disney Fantasy.

*Little update* Here is the first example I have of my photography aboard the Disney Fantasy. More will be imported today and a gallery will hopefully be started.
